A “Dewan Ulama” for UMNO?

230px-UMNO_(Malaysia)_logo_svgKUALA LUMPUR – Umno could take a leaf from PAS and set up a wing to tackle issues on Islam, a delegate from Penang proposed. Tasek Gelugor division head Shabudin Yahaya said with the setting up of its own ‘Dewan Ulama’ Umno could forge closer links with the country’s Muslim scholars. “We have to get closer to the Islamic scholars and the way to do this is to set up our own Dewan Ulama,” he said Friday when debating the presidential address by Umno head Najib Abdul Razak in conjunction with the Umno general assembly.

A dewan ulama for UMNO? I am just trying to be realistic here because we don’t want UMNO to be called as “penciplak” to the concept which being brought up by PAS. PAS is the only party which adopted the “Dewan Ulama” system, which is something like a Guardian Council in Iran. A Dewan Ulama functions as the highest council of the party, and forms decision to be taken by the party.

I don’t think the formation of Dewan Ulama will help to assist UMNO in tackling issue on Islam. We have enough of Majlis Fatwa, the Mufti council and Islamic relations division in all states around the country to assist UMNO in tackling issues of Islam. Why should we have another “Dewan Ulama” like what PAS does if for example their Ulama is being controlled by PAS Spiritual Leader TGNA? Read the rest of this entry »

Why Malaysians are starting to shift back to Barisan Nasional

The following link is referred;

People’s voice must be upheld…

Quoted:

SamadThe recent election in Bagan Pinang is something that is considered as beyond comprehension. It goes against the current political trend today. It is really difficult to understand, what actually causes BN to win? Is it because of Pakatan Rakyat’s inability to show unity? Is it because Isa is greatly pictured by the locals? Is it that Indians have chosen UMNO because of the respect given towards Makkal Sakti? or Is it because of the success of the plan of building better Malaysia through Najib’s concept of 1Malaysia? I don’t really know… – Posted by Aizuddin Sapian

Read the rest of this entry »

Najib, jangan sampai Che Det buat lagi

Bukan calang-calang orang. Kalau semua kedai Cina tutup, habis Melayu. Kalau semua Melayu boikot Cina, habis Cina.

First and for most, what constitutes the meaning of a Master?

I would say a Master is a person who holds power and can regulate other people within his order and desires, and people are bound to his judgment. Without a Master’s consent, one could not reach to a decision which is important to be made there after.

In the context of Malaysia, a Master would be someone who holds power i.e the money. Money is something very important in the daily use, isn’t it? without money, you are nothing. I came across a recent remark made by the former Prime Minister in which he says in his blog that the Chinese are the real masters in this country.

Who are the real Master, you decide: Read the rest of this entry »
