A “Dewan Ulama” for UMNO?

230px-UMNO_(Malaysia)_logo_svgKUALA LUMPUR – Umno could take a leaf from PAS and set up a wing to tackle issues on Islam, a delegate from Penang proposed. Tasek Gelugor division head Shabudin Yahaya said with the setting up of its own ‘Dewan Ulama’ Umno could forge closer links with the country’s Muslim scholars. “We have to get closer to the Islamic scholars and the way to do this is to set up our own Dewan Ulama,” he said Friday when debating the presidential address by Umno head Najib Abdul Razak in conjunction with the Umno general assembly.

A dewan ulama for UMNO? I am just trying to be realistic here because we don’t want UMNO to be called as “penciplak” to the concept which being brought up by PAS. PAS is the only party which adopted the “Dewan Ulama” system, which is something like a Guardian Council in Iran. A Dewan Ulama functions as the highest council of the party, and forms decision to be taken by the party.

I don’t think the formation of Dewan Ulama will help to assist UMNO in tackling issue on Islam. We have enough of Majlis Fatwa, the Mufti council and Islamic relations division in all states around the country to assist UMNO in tackling issues of Islam. Why should we have another “Dewan Ulama” like what PAS does if for example their Ulama is being controlled by PAS Spiritual Leader TGNA? Read the rest of this entry »

HUKUM POTONG TANGAN SEBAGAI TINDAKAN PELANGGARAN HAK ASASI MANUSIA?

Oleh
Syaikh Muhammad bin Shalih Al-Utsaimin

Pertanyaan:

Jawapan.
Saya tegaskan terhadap orang yang mengatakan memotong tangan pencuri dan menjadikan nilai persaksian kaum wanita separuh dari persaksian kaum lelaki sebagai sesuatu yang keras dan melanggar hak asasi kaum wanita, bahawa dengan perkataan ini dia telah keluar (murtad) dari Islam dan kafir terhadap Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. Maka, wajib baginya untuk bertaubat kepada Allah dari hal itu. Bila dia tidak mahu, maka dia mati dalam kafir, sebab hal inilah hukum Allah. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala berfirman;

“Ertinya : Dan (hukum) siapakah yang lebih baik daripada (hukum) Allah bagi orang-orang yang yakin?” [Al-Ma'idah : 50] Read the rest of this entry »

Is Raja Petra still a Muslim?

Raja Petra is back again. Now he attacks from youtube, hiding behind black shadow of himself, to prove his innocent’s side. On the recent attack exposed in Din Merican blog, RPK questions on the charges made against him on the ground that he had insulted the Islam in his blog Malaysia Today.

Yes. RPK did insulted Islam, but not in his post as alleged by him. He actually did insulted Islam year ago after he was detained under the ISA in Kamunting. He questions the validity of the supremacy of Islam and he said the Uztaz should not say that other religion is bad or deviant. He said the uztaz has no right whatsoever to determine such thing. 10 Dalil Pakatan Sesat

Don’t blame me if I say Pakatan Rakyat looks proper to be called as Pakatan Sesat. They are all sesat people who only want to sieze power and make money. From their leaders until their bloggers are among top ten of sesat group in the nation at the moment. Lets see how sesat are they up to this moment, especially after a traumatic stress upon their failure to steal the throne from the Federal Government on 16 of september last year. After that day, they have lost their faith and becoming even sesat than ever before.

Nak tengok jiran Hindu sebelah rumah kita pun dah rasa lain macam. Read the rest of this entry »

“Who Taught You Religion, Uztaz RPK?”

Blogger turns Uztaz. It is Uztaz Raja Petra Kamaruddin, the popular blogger of Malaysia Today. Despite his braveness against the government, RPK is now turning his cannon against the city of God. He is now performing his duty as the new uztaz of Malaysia Today.

If only JAKIM lodged a police report for his political article, this report was made due to his “over religious” thought. RPK in this video has gone too much. We understand every religion is sacred and we respect them for being there to guide the people. There is no religion in this world hates each other or maybe promotes war.

The position is now, the Uztaz in the Kamunting camp ( if only it is true the Uztaz did say such thing, because we usually know that RPK is the man of defamatory type ) speaks in his capacity as a Muslim, and the audience were all Muslim. It is religious class ( like RPK said in this video ) Read the rest of this entry »
