60 Billion Stimulus package: Thumbs down!

untitledIt has to be noted that we are in deep of recession. So do other countries as well. The tight claw of this economic problem scratch down every back of ours, and the government needs to do something, as usual. We accept the 60 billion stimulus package with high expectation that this will help us to brace the hard times in the upcoming days.

But unfortunately I was not really happy to read the today newspaper. “TheSun” reported today that RM3.2 billion will be rolled out this week. Of the total, RM1.3 billion is to be awarded to contractors to improve, upgrade and develop infrastructures of schools. A total of 322 schools throughout the country had been identified, said Najib in a statement yesterday. Read the rest of this entry »

Lim Kit Siang For Malaysia? I Beg Your Pardon?

For Real?

For Real?

I have several things to say about DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang. No doubt there have been a very tough times for this old timer opposition leader in his political career. Lim Kit Siang has play his role as the great opposition leader ever in Malaysian political history. Being the MP since 1969 until now, he has fought so well for minority races in this country. He got support from the Chinese voters lately, after a flip-flop performance of Abdullah Badawi.

Since the very beginning of myself in looming around Malaysian politics, I doubt where is Kit Siang comes from. I even underestimate his education background, before he gains my respect for his LLB (Hons) from London University. He never shut himself out from controversy, and always heat up our politics. Whatever opinion on the eyes of his supporters never concerns me, as I think this man is not a friendly guy to the majority of the Malays. Read the rest of this entry »

Najib Says Goodbye To His Daddy’s Policy

“In the not-too-distant future, we will see all the elements of the New Economic Policy being replaced. It’s a huge challenge, there must be this political will and desire to change within Umno. I don’t think we can expect people to look at us in more favourable terms unless we change, unless we rectify our weaknesses.”

New Economic Policy was founded by our second Prime Minister, the late tun Abdul Razak, who was Najib’s father. The notion of such policy is to help the Malays and Bumiputras to compete with other races, in term of economic and businesses. But until today, the 30% of equity possession is still on blind papers, undesolved.

In May 1969, there was a riot happened in state of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. It is believed that the economic instability was one of the reason why such riot took place. The Malays were being left out, and the economy was controlled by the Chinese. In order to overcome this situation, Tun Razak has decided to form Majlis Gerakan Ekonomi Negara ( MAGERAN ), to re-structure the national unity. The NEP also was introduced to stabilize the pro-founding resources, and to allocate it fairly to the Malays and other races, who wanted to get involved in businesses. Read the rest of this entry »

Amaran Kepada Lim Guan Eng! – DEB Bantu Semua Kaum.
