Is Raja Petra still a Muslim?

Raja Petra is back again. Now he attacks from youtube, hiding behind black shadow of himself, to prove his innocent’s side. On the recent attack exposed in Din Merican blog, RPK questions on the charges made against him on the ground that he had insulted the Islam in his blog Malaysia Today.

Yes. RPK did insulted Islam, but not in his post as alleged by him. He actually did insulted Islam year ago after he was detained under the ISA in Kamunting. He questions the validity of the supremacy of Islam and he said the Uztaz should not say that other religion is bad or deviant. He said the uztaz has no right whatsoever to determine such thing. Impose ISA To Anwar, Problem Solved?

Anwar, the power chaser recently signed the media that many of the Chinese leaders from BN would jump to his party to enable him to form the new government based on simple majority in parliament. If MCA were to leave the Barisan, I dare say that it will change our political culture drastically and lead to the county’s political damage.

A country with a multi-racial society like Malaysia needs a mix in order to have a peaceful environment for everyone. So, to have all Chinese-based parties going to the opposition and only Malay-based parties in the ruling coalition would definitely create more tension for the country, which is bad for business and the economy. MCA has form a crutial part of Malaysian politics in the sense that they represent a sole Chinese party. This system has proven to be effective, where party represent their own race, and agree upon any matter via consensus between them. Frankly speaking, this system is favouring us and has contribute to this country’s stability. Read the rest of this entry »

Snippets – BAR Council And Iran Braveness

BAR COUNCIL ON ISA – DONT MAKE IT POLITICS

I think The Malaysian Bar is a good organization and medium for lawyers to express their views. they used to become one of the most NGO which against the government’s policies through all these days. the principle of BAR council in matter pertaining to the ISA issue has no diffrence with the opposition’s one.

Well as a group of law practitioner, of course i think they should really uphold the constitution but unfortunately it contradicts with it. although not all issues they are not in the same pole with the government’s action, the Malaysian Bar does not represents their members voice as a whole. they have rights to disagree, but leaving the constitution behind is something undesireble. ISA – Lets Consult The Judges

Recently there are many voices urging for the abolishment of the Internal Security Act (ISA). The Internal Security Act should be repealed and not reviewed as suggested by Gerakan acting president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, said Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. Using analogies, he said yesterday it was impossible to make a bicycle fly or Satan to become good.

On May 23, Dr Koh, who was former Chief Minister, suggested that the Government set up a Parliamentary Select Committee to examine the various aspects of the ISA. He said the review should make the Act compliant with basic human rights principles with clear criteria and safeguards. Guan Eng said it was internationally recognised that the detention of persons without trial was in violation of the rule of law, human rights and the principles of a democratic government.
