Tired, Mr.President?
Many people cherish this man. World loves him. When he won the US Presidency election, he sworn to the world for the changes he promised. And now is the moment. Moment of his change to take place into this damaged world. I doubt his promise, as we all know what will happen when he take the oval office under his word to defend Israel. Its not a good for the world’s peace.
Many say that he is pulling a bigger box passed by his previous president, Bush. What those burden have to do with the United States? Palestine issue? Gaza? Guantanamo Bay? Iraq? Afghanistan?
United States doesn’t care of that. They are an independent country, and have their own problem. What on earth that would drag them into the Palestinian conflict? Are we hoping for Obama to help the Palestinian people? To re-build Gaza? To persuade Israel to stop killing people? Shut-down their nuclear program? chemical bomb? killing women and children? poverty? A day-dream day, Mr.President. Read the rest of this entry »

Finally, Barack Obama claimed the presidential title. From slaves to the White House, I salute the US people, for their integrity and openness, though they might have nothing to lose by giving Barack Hussien Obama, the first black president ever in the history of the United States, to lead them.
The US citizens had show their respect to their constitution, and to their forefathers, there is still a hope in the present struggle, where racial disgust had been set aside, and the liberalization of the mind of the people, would offer us something, at least. I was looming around the Malaysian Bar webpage, till I realize that we are not mature yet to have an open discussion if matters relating racial issue might take place.
Lawyers, only on the title, but not in the real practice. They take issue emotionally, and yet they want to have the “change” of Malaysian political system of government.
As I would explain this constitutionally, that none of the provisio in the constitution saying that the PM must be a Malay, or Muslim. But clear expression of rights and privilages of the Malays are there. I got nothing to against the non-malay PM idealism, but he must be in the position of protecting the constitution, as approved by our forefathers. If he can do it, he is the desirable non-Malay Prime Minister of Malaysia. Read the rest of this entry »

As we move on, to face the new era of globalizations, we are more to concentrate on what can we do to make this world better place to live in, and promote unity among multiracial citizens around the world, I think it’s the right time for us to come back to the original lessons as bestowed in Quran and Bible. This world has suffered much from war, criminal, discriminations, oppressions, starvations caused by malevolence people.
The war in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Kosovo, human crisis in Darfur, African Nations, thousands of people dying and screaming for freedom. They lost in their own country. They became slaves in their own nations. They died with humiliations, corruptions are everywhere, and they scared of living in their very own house. They have lost their dignity and identity. Both Obama and Clinton voted against confirming Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito. Both would have supported a filibuster to block a confirmation vote on Alito, if Democratic leaders had tried to mount one. Each voted against an amendment to this year’s Senate immigration bill that would have denied legal status to those who had entered the United States illegally.
No Obama vote on war in Iraq. Both senators have voiced criticism of the way President Bush-it has conducted operations in Iraq. Yet when they were given the chance to enact Sen. Russ Feingold’s measure ordering Bush to withdraw most U.S. troops by July 1, 2007, both Clinton and Obama voted “no.” Read the rest of this entry »
