Speaking up the truth and unraveling the lies to make Malaysia a better place

We Want To Know What Happened, Razak.

Razak Baginda is a free man now. Having face the 151 days trial, he sufficiently proved prima facie case against him and was acquitted from the charges for murdering the Mongolian model, Altantuya Sharibuu two years ago.

Despite all the allegations, widely spread in the blogosphere, accusing him with Datuk Seri Najib to have involved in this controversial case, the court presided by the Justice Mohd Zaki, with only 11 page of judgment, released him but not the two policeman, which was charged together with Razak 2 years ago.

151 days of trial, accompanied with various evidence, cell-phone log records, bunches of witnesses, the judge only needs 11 page of text, in delevering the judgment to the accused. What a fair and equal judgment allinged with the fact and the survival of the case.

The two policeman was shocked to hear that Razak was acquitted, and so do other Malaysian who follow this case day by day. They track the newspaper everyday, surfing the internet every minutes they can afford to do so, to seek for the truth. And yet, 11 page judgment solve everything?

A mere judgment is not enough to be served against us, the mighty Malaysian. We are now understand what is democracy, and freedom of expressing our thoughts and opinion. We want to clear all the dust and haze, that has been covering us for all these days. We want to know what is the real facts underlined behind the 11 page judgment. We want to hear Razak speaks and tell us everything he know and encountered.

We want to know what was happened that night, since the 11 page judgment failed to feed us well. We want to know..

    salam…

sy bersetuju dgn saudara. Sebagai pengamal undang-undang, judgement setebal…maaf, senipis 11 mukasurat bagi kes yg memakan masa berbulan-bulan is irrelevant! Nampaknya kredibiliti makhamah di Malaysia sekali lagi menjadi permainan@mangsa politik kotor kerajaan. sampai bilakah institusi perundangan negara akan diperkotak-katikkan seperti ini? sampai Pakatan Rakyat memerintah? WAllahua’lam…

We have tried and we now contest only patience so we shall wait until the now-showing drama comes to its end. A little sluggish but it’s ending. Soon.

I have always thought that the acquittal of Razak Baginda is expected. There is nothing to connect the death of Altantuya to Razak Baginda. From the beginning, Razak has filed an Affidavit strenuously denying culpability.

The only thing Razak Baginda is guilty of is a guilt by association with 2 over zealous policemen wanting to impress the boss with an unorthodox method of silencing the troublemaker.

In any event, the matter is still subject to an appeal process. Lets not get too hasty in passing judgment.

By the way, the system is such that the need to proof guilt is set quite high. As any law student will tell you, it will be better to let a thousand guilty men go free than to punish one innocent man.

A bit of an afterthought. I think it is ten or a hundred instead of a thousand. Depending on whether it’s Blackstone or Ben Franklin.

Guilty of being overzealous in stating my case.

    agak musykil…

as 2 altantuya’s parents.. God is fair.. ur daughter’s killer wil b punished..whether it’s rili razak or other person..

in my point of view, the other two corps will not sentenced to death….they will be in jail….and after that…with their good behaviour, they will discharge earlier than they supposed to be …that is what i predict! but we have to wait and see…
after all, i am currently working with international organization….and some of my colleagues are from mongolia…they said to me: “malaysian’s killer is heartless!”

  12. Dr.Sid says:

susan loone said in her blog that the mongolian government is going to bring this matter to the international court. hm, i wonder if they can do that?
