The country that we’re building will be the country we’re destroying if we don’t unite

Tun M As Our De Facto PM

I donot know why, people seem afraid to hear that Tun Dr.Mahathir is going to become our de facto PM if Najib takes over the federal government early next year.

Singapore also have one, they acknowledge Lee Kuan Yew, as their mentor minister, senior minister, and become the de facto leader of that country, though he has vacated his seat as the Prime Minister of Singapore many years ago. If Tun M were to become the de facto leader, I must say that many of the Malaysian will be happy to hear that. This due to the fact that he has proven to be the epitome of a statesman, being a very successful PM ever. Why on earth people refuse to accept him as the de facto PM?

He has done so much to our country. Atleast to be a little bit rational, we must appreciate his contribution to our country.

I know why are certain group of people are againsting this notion. They afraid that Mahathir will come back to the government, and do like what he has did before. He is a firm, and brave leader, willing to sacrifice anything to make his dream come true. Atleast he is dreaming for the achievement of his country, not to become the Prime Minister and daydream about it everyday, setting up a new date and date, to topple the government via back door.

If he is a dictator, he is a dictator for good. If he is a “Firaun”, he is a “Firaun” of a very successful Egyptian civilization. If he is cruel, he is the most generous Hitler ever born on this earth. Don’t deny it my friends, just because you are the supporters of the “mata lebam” wrestler.

Tun Dr.Mahathir is capable of throwing two birds with one stone. If he were to be our de facto leader, atleast I feel safe, so the investors. Rather than having an unstable government, succeeded in the most disgusting way – the back door government.

It is a very powerful belief. It changes nations. It throws them down and raises them up. It brings ‘Malaysia Boleh’.

But what is it after all? A mad belief. And yet no one will admit it. If you ask an ‘politikus, pembangkang and rakyat’, they says, ‘I am not one of them.’ Yet at the same time all move together when an impulse comes for good or bad.

dr. siddiq, i totally and wholeheartedly agree with you on this one. Tun Mahathir has been the brain, the nerve system, the backbone, the err… Everything lah, in terms of transforming Malaysia into a country that is a whole lot better than what she used to be. tetapi kita tidak perlulah meniru cara dan gaya negara jiran kita semata-mata untuk menjernihkan keadaan sosio-politik kita pada masa kini. kalaupun Tun dianggap dan dilabel sebagai “de facto” PM, itu sudah dianggap sebagai satu “well-known secret”. the singapore government’s move to allocate a Minister Mentor position for Mr. Lee was an just a formality; a goodwill gesture to the public, if i may say so.

DS Najib as PM, Tun Dr M as his mentor.

Hmmm… I like that. Let’s just hope that this time it’s for the sake of Malaysia, and not for certain quarters’ pockets, bank accounts, etc..

    LOL!

hi doc. Tun is the best person now to run our country. i have no doubt about that, but some may have. i don’t understand why. they talk about dictator, i didn’t see he dictated my life. they talk about zalim, we were a lot better during his time than now, maybe one person saying that days and nights. i don’t give a s**t about that. that guy didn’t pay my rent, my food or my salary. the moment, that guy open his mouth, i got worried. people went crazy, losing their mind creating a mess! at least our southern neighbor get worried if Tun is back. they know, they have no match for him, you know ‘kiasu’ syndrome.

  11. rudy says:

Simple la Sid, If Tun emerge, the opossition is doomed, They will be outclased, outsmart, outperformed, outnumbered, outgunned and etc. Economy will be at least better than now. Dr M is back for good.

  23. hanan hawa says:

maafa kalau saya ‘membunuh’ mood anda semua dgn memberi komen sebegini. dalam parlimen pun ada pihak pembangkang, ini kan pula daam blog dr. sid. betul x dr. sid? kalau semua menyokong dan memb**ek, x seronokla cam ni kan?semuanya ‘angguk’ kepala sahaja.
ke saya ni memang tersalah masuk blog?
kalau gitu, maaf ye dr. sid!!=)

  30. mastajoe says:

Dr.Sid , your idea is good .Do you think Najib & crony will accept ? Don’t be too egoist .DSNajib is an orphan child for too long already . He didn’t get much advice from his late father .Dr.M is a wise old man of world standard .I think most of Umno ,young members from MCA ,MIC ,Gerakan ,and ten other BN affiliated parties will agree with the idea of our beloved Tun as a de facto PM or advisor . Before his appointment to DPM he had committed many small mistakes. As PM he is not expected to make any more silly mistakes .Don’t follow PakLah of increasing the price of petrol to the certain amount that leeds to the increase of prices of all goods in the country and bring down the index of KLCI . Now DSNajib has to bring the price of petrol due to the decrease of crude oil price .Sorry Pak Lah , the price of goods and services will not come down .Pak Lah never had a big think tank except for his few relatives.Pak Lah also never refer to Quran and sunnah before undertaking any big decisions.
Its high time DSNajib does not repeat Pak Lah’s mistakes.Have think tanks headed by our beloved Tun . He is everwilling to help because Tun himself was one time helped by DSNajibs father .We all want to see Malaysia progress and show the world that we mean business. We wont be just spectators in this chaotic world but we want to be an active player and put right the world economy and prove that Islam is not terrorist.
Dr.Sid ,we pray that our beloved Tun will be willing to help this country and build Malaysia as a wonderful place to live in.Build another “SABA” as described in the Quran .I hope we don’t despise Pak Lah and si mata lebam .Pak Lah had done a great job as DPM and during one or two years as PM .But When he felt that he was too strong and liked by all then he started to forget that he is a human being like all of us.He made mistakes and made wrong decisions .As for si mata lebam he wont be too arrogant if he knew that Our beloved Tun is around .Tun knew his weeknesses .Let him daydream till the end of his life .

  31. Dr.Sid says:

    yes. tun knows his weaknesses…

  32. Mim's says:

I pray hard and hope this will come thru’ ! I remember those days everybody ‘despite the color’ were willing to do anything for the country. We had our ‘Jalur Gemilang’ everywhere .. the highest Mount Everest etc etc and the ‘Malaysia Boleh’ everybody hold on to being PROUD Malaysians during his time.

How he did it?? I dun know .. but whatever he did, he brought unity and I love those days .. sometimes I think back and wonder if we would be more unite if we’re less educated ??? We had respect for each other then and why not now?

I’m teaching my kids to hold on to these values and hope each and everyone of us does the same so that we will unite and become as ONE … and that’s our strength!

  33. zopinion says:

    110% Correct Correct Correct

Tun succeded in developing Malaysia as we are today. We still need his good advice and strategies and his business sense…
