The Hot lava has exploded. Villagers ran away, flee their hometown to seek for new place as their place had been burned off by the hot lava. But these villagers still looking around, hesitate on whether they shall move or stay.
The so-called de facto law minister Zaid Ibrahim now are part of those uncertain villagers. Being a minister which carries a cabinet responsibility, and collective responsibility did not stop this man from speaking as a loyal unsung hero for the people. If Zaid feels better for him waving his hand to the government, I feel Zaid is has nothing better enough to do so and his departure are welcomed! Since joining the cabinet, Zaid seems to be popular among the legal practitioner. He the one who initiated the ex-gratia payment, in collaboration with the Bar, as Zaid is a senior member of the Bar. As he braces the Bar so much, he is now falling apart to both government and Bar. Zaid’s proportions and ideas seen as nothing different with the Bar. Abolish ISA, the judicial crisis, and whatever lame piece of legislation, Zaid has his voice over there. Its good to have this kind of minister, where justice upheld and truth revealed.
But after months having this man on cabinet, the question mark merged. Whether he is upholding the principle of collective responsibility, if not, he better be outside the government. He is destroying the embodied of executive. Likewise the judiciary and the legislature, the executive also are part of these three basic structure of the country. So have some respect over it.
Although many wouldn’t agree with me, but I feel Zaid should not be in the cabinet if he feels rather of having his voice against the government, he should have resign by now. Though this might be personal, I think Zaid is grabbing attention too much. His voice is rather political and offering nothing. He used to come with the proposal of having the Common Bar Examination CBE but now its remain silence as it is. Maybe he forgot what UiTM has offered him before, which he obtained his law degree there.
So I am glad to hear that Mr.Zaid Ibrahim or mainly known as ZICO in Malaysian law field, is ready to put off his cabinet title. Gentlemen stand against thing bravely. If he feels so, we felt the very same thing he feels. Hope words is not only words, as this 16 september is just a myth, I hope Zaid will not be making the same thing as well. He already stated that if the government fails to review the Internal Security Act (ISA), he would resign. So be it.
The government will not consider your say, Mr.Zaid. You are not the factor to change the government’s role. Even Tun Dr.Mahathir was defeated and “kick-out” by his former “children”. Who are you to threathen the government with such words? Maybe after this Zaid will be available in his office and doing all the litigation thingy like he used to in past days.
Nobody is going to cry, nobody is going to beg for your return, and no one will ever give a damn to your missing shadow. Because nobody cares.

Dear Sir,
Cannot agree more with you. He is just a puppet for a bar council.
dia ingat dia hero..porrah..
kalau nak blogging bahasa inggeris tu, tulis lah elok-elok. England kamu bersepah sungguh! jadi, kalau nak bunyi macam intelektual sangat, cuba tulis ayat-ayat yang senang-senang sikit.
pemikiran kamu, kalau mengikut tulisan seperti di atas…. nampaknya tak cukup matang pun. jadi, seperti yang dikatakan dalam bahasa Inggeris: Shut the Fuck up if you don’t know your shit. If you are jealous of his attention/popularity/credibility/principles, DR Mengarut (beli degree kat India ke?)….then go buy yourself some porn and jack off into your sad state of denial. Buy a book on politics and read about it from cover to cover; baru pemikiran anda boleh matang. kalau tidak, terkangkang saja dalam kepala hotak Melayu-UMNO kamu tu.
Are you from pakatan rakyat? because you are behaving like one of them.
BTW, we believe in the freedom of speech..and WTFBD has exercise his part, inilah contoh rakyat Malaysia yang berbudi bahasa..tahniah!
BTW, ada ENGLAND ke yang bersepah? kesian..beza england dengan english pun tak tahu…jangan malukan Malaysia ya WTFBD jika anda ke ENGLAND suatu hari nanti…
Your English sucks. It’s really annoying.
Salam Doc,
This WTFBD fella, it smells like a cult follower of Mazhab Satu Mata. Many of this species crowding the cyber world, a sad product of Darwin’s evolution went wild. Lesson that I learnt, never never never invite them for intellectual discourse, their argument are prophecies from the cult leader.
It’s mysterious, how could a cunning and intellectual lawyer totally devoted himself to the weakest leader in the history of Malaysia? While he has devoting himself to Dollah, I was thinking that Zaid was just an average blood sucking lawyer who would grab any opportunity available. Then came the statement about Muhyidin, from that moment I knew Zaid’s IQ has gone below freezing point.
Now when his conscience speaks, he comes out with resignation idea. Perhaps his IQ is also taking corrective measure. But who cares after all.
To Johnny and WTFBD (wtf??),
despite of arguing this issue academically, this two freaks are showing themselves stupid.
let them be, people..:D
well, apparently the PM cares and what do you know, his thought and view have the weight not comparable to all of you here collectively! (LOL)
Even Pak Lah does not want him to resign, he asked Zaid to reconsider his decision.. awak siapa? and by the way, unless you know this man and know much about law, you seriously do not know what you wrote about!
ZICO was his former company – as a person, he was never known as ZICO.
awak ni betul2 tong kosong nyaring bunyinya le… kesian.. kesian…
im agree with Wong ah kit… are they really bright? who knew.. at least this Dr siddiq is not a “Plastic”.
Membuat kesalahan itu tidaklah bermaksud bahawa anda bodoh tetapi adalah sebaliknya.Ramai pemimpin mahupun orang yang berjaya pada hari ini belajar dari kesilapan mereka.Teruskan usaha Dr Siddiq. Jangan layan mereka yang hanya tahu mengkritik menikut emosi bukan akal. Saya percaya anda banyak improvement. Saya nantikan post yang seterusnya.
sidek – you are always sidek…
you never disregarded the fact that the malaysian judiciary and system is under mess, several times, in your writings you state that, and now…
after zaid wanted to resign, you simply said, who cares? well, as a law student i believe that the need to have an totally independent judiciary is grave, you cannot deny the fact – the judiciary is the last safeguard available for us – the malaysian citizen, but now, the reality have shown that the judiciary is not totally independent…
as i have said, important to have a totally independent judiciary – in which, zaid fought for it – despite being rejected by the cabinets ministers and the bn leadership, now you say you dont care that he resigned – impliedly you are saying that you dont care about what he is trying to do to improvise our system…
i respected you sidek – but when it comes to the salvation of the people through an independent judiciary – strictly on efforts of zaid, i think you know what type of law student are you…
if you truly think that you are oherwise of what i have stated earlier, please answer these question, with a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer – dont aviod it…
these are the questions:
1 – do you agree that independence of the judiciary, in total, is important for any country and system?
2 – do you agree, when it comes to zaid, as proven in the approach that he took, to grant ex-gratia payment to the person concerned with the 88 judicial crisis, with the fact that he pushed for re-establishment of article 121 that to give back the inherent judicial review power to the court that his motion was rejected by the cabinet members, that his departure is a loss to the country?
3 – do yo agree that you said ‘who cares’ in response to zaid’s call for resignation of de facto law minister – can be impliedly defined as you dont give a shit about a clean and independent judiciary?
please answer the question – still, you can reason but you must specify the ‘yes’ or’no’ in your answer – as an excercise of your freedom of speech and right to be heard…
1 – yes i agree. Tun Salleh Abas stated in his book, “the judiciary is like a referee in football match. what a football match without referee?”
2 – No. Malaysian will forget Zaid Ibrahim someday. and his departure was not a big lost. i didn’t see any revival or benefits gained from the 88 judicial ex-gratia whatever. it was to boost up his popularity as the law minister. what Zaid has to say about the social contract and the conversion forum? did he clarify his stand toward this thing? NO. he acted biasly. just to preserve his interest with the member of the Bar inside.
3 – No. I give a damn attention to ensure our judiciary clean and accountable. but Zaid may have one side white, but the rest – remain uncertain. like I said before, all he did was to grab attention and popularity.
bullshit to johny and wtfbd. so you know your shit fuck up, that why you fuck..
Zaid Ibrahim salah satu chontoh Menteri Paling Bahlul. Dia resign bukan kerana tak boleh jalankan pentakbiran dgn penuh tanggung jawab malah disebabkan ISA. LUCU betul si Bahlul ini……
S.A.M aku rasa perkataan bahlul tu sesuai sgt dgn ko..mcm ade chemistry..ko ni jenis xikut perkembangan.main sebat je..ISA tu salah satu sebab mangkuk.byk lagi usaha die nk pulihkan gov dinafikan sendiri oleh makhluk22 sengal dlm kabinet..cmana nak kerja org sendiri pun xsupport..balik baca n teliti elok2 before comment mr B..
Man…your English sucks. The worst thing is that, even after getting past the lousy command of the language (and your insistence of using ‘bombastic’ words wrongly), you still do not make any sense. You took great pains to write how nobody would care about Zaid’s resignation yet the fact that you took the trouble actually shows that it did affect you. You did care enough to write the drivel above. Warped logic.
Anyway, I hope you are a medical doctor rather than someone who was bestowed the title for actually getting a Phd. If its the later, its good that you did not state which university you got it from. It would be quite an embarrassment to the university.
bukanracist and Aizuddin Sapian, can’t agree more with the both of you!.
