Speaking up the truth and unraveling the lies to make Malaysia a better place

Our Forefathers Of Malaysia

If we flip back the history book, we will find out how BN has offered prosperity to Malaysia. After 51 years of independence, BN pathetically viewed as irrelevant and a lame coalition party. Why this happen? because the topman of the supremo has breached the trust given by the people with the mandate, they missused their power. Everybody knows this.

In the previous days, BN used to be the leader of all party in Malaysia. It is abnormal for someone to choose other political party except BN in those days. BN represent multi-racial remarks, which represented by component parties, and their voice being heard for sure, even if the party only have 100,000 membership. This is how the system prosper Malaysia for almost 50 years. We are proud to have Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Tan Cheng Lock and Tun VT Sambanthan as our forefathers, our beloved founding fathers of this valuable heritage.

But today, this party are no longer supreme in Malaysian political arena. If we look back, during the past days BN was hard to lose in any general or by-election, as people have a full faith to upheld this coalition of all races based party. Nevertheless, BN is lucky to stay alive nowadays. The message given in the 08 march general election has pretty clear notification that this party are no longer be the rakyat’s favourite.

They wanted changes in BN, they voted up silly dumb candidates to show their potest against the government of Barisan, and not because they support those candidates neither. You tell me how could a first-timer, became popular just because of he is the video recorder of VK Lingam drama, won against a senior MCA leader? correct me if im wrong. This is totally funny.

I oftenly visit the Malaysian Bar webpage. They have this one commentor, named Stephen Tan Ban Cheng who used to comments in many articles published by the webmaster, and this is his comment with regards to Muhyiddin statement concerning the rumours of the possibility that MCA and Gerakan would leave BN shortly.

This is a sign of a politician extraordinaire. He talks … and we listen. Time is spent … and we can take the message to be what we want it to be. Seriously, the National Front was founded on the principle of consensus. Consensus implies prior consultation. However, one tired and retired National Front leader tells us that his party’s relationship with Umno is like that of a patron and a beggar. Another National Front leader tells us that his party’s relationship with Umno is like that of a master and a servant. No one, I repeat, no one has said that his party’s relationship with Umno is like that of a master and a slave. Thank God for that.

I am confident that had the National Front observed its founding principle of consensus and its attendant practice of prior consultation, it would never have suffered the reverses it sustained in the March 8, 2008, general election. Had that been done, no National Front component party leader in his right mind would have even entertained, let alone talk about, the very idea of leaving the once mighty confederation of 13 parties.

Stephen used to critisize the government in many field  the government may upfront, but having said that, we can see that he still concerns of the dispute being faced by the BN today. Deep in his heart, and many of Malaysian heart, we still love Barisan Nasional, since this is the only heritage being passed by our fathers and a symbol of racial integration. BN is not a mere political instrument, it is a piece of Malaysian history and a frame that provides for racial unity. It is a masterpiece of all betterment ever found by our compatriots. It represent Malaysia.

As what he was saying, he got the basis of speaking. UMNO, being an elder brother to other party, mustn’t react as if they are the sole of the party. We live in a multiracial country, where respect between each other are vital to be carried upon. And this apply to the other political party as well, as we must not seek for differences, and let there be a constitution and the law, and avoid from discussing sensitives issue. This is how Malaysian live with it in the previous days. Why can’t it be sustained today?

Sad to watch ourselves today demanding to get rid of this party. The young generation tear its flag, dishonor its name, just because of the new temporary ideologies being pumped into their minds by those ambitious politican…

to dr siddiq.. brilliant article..just because of some crap administration by the current government, all those ungrateful lots are quick to say that BN is now irrelevant..i’m sick ok khalid ibrahim or azmin ali who says this year national day celebration is more meaningful because of finally they are liberated from BN after 51 years. what crap is that..if they say like this year celebration is meaningful because of they just liberated from a corrupt state govt or watsoever, i think is more appropriate..dun forget bn which formerly known as parti perikatan were the one who negotiate our independence…if not, maybe we r still under the british colonial..org2 x bersyukur macam nie la..slalu yg x bersyukur nie membangkang byk sgt..

AI is a back-stabber. Mana2 orang2 sudah tolong dia, dia akan tikam orang itu balek. Dan keduanya, sepanjangan asyik berdrama. Selfish fool. Sakit belakang lah, semua drama buat2, ingin belasan dari audience. Kalau AI jadi PM, dia lagi bertambah korup (sekarang pon memang dah korup) bukan saja di Msia, lagi bertambah ‘piggy bank’ dia diberi oleh negara luar. He is a pyscopath. However, BN is not that great either, needs to do postmortem. Hope BN realize cuz am tired of them also. Love che det. But still bersyukur dilahirkan diMsia, honestly it is the best country in this whole world. Been around. Selamat menyambut bulan Ramadhan yang mulia, maaf dzahir batin.

Whether we like it or not, what had happened especially to UMNO was because of themselves. They breached the trust of the people, especially Malays. It might be hurt for the UMNO supporters but that’s the fact. UMNO is the core but if they can’t even take care of Malays, who else can?. Let alone to get other races support.

Give you one example. Talking about money politics, that was one of reasons why i resigned from my previous job. I was an officer to the one of the minister’s political secretary and actively involved in Pemilihan Agung UMNO 2004.

That was when i see how money can really control people’s decision. You give the money, you get the vote. As much as i and some of my friend regret (until today) helping doing it, we have to because if we don’t follow the trend, our boss will lose.

I’m so happy when pak lah said he will end the money politics in UMNO, but that’s it. Sorry to say, it’s only worsened day by day. Nothing changed.

Our leaders nowadays forgot the purposed why in the first place people vote for them. They forgot what our forefathers have done and sacrifices to build this nation.

Be it BN or PR they are no different. Personal agenda first, nation’s can wait. That’s why our gap broaden more than we can ever imagine. While they can use a very diplomatic way to solve an issue, they manipulated it for their personal gain instead.

And what have become to our Malaysia?. Is this the kind of nation that we will one day pass to our children?.

Until our current leaders realized what they have done, our Malaysia is already ruined.

For whatever will happened in the future, i can only hope for the best.
