Anwar Dilemma: Becoming PM Or To Jail Again?

The heat starts now. the passion of this opposition icon, maybe one of the Malaysian legendary leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, is going to compete for the by-election in Permatang Pauh, Penang. In the same time, he is facing charges for sodomising his personal assistant, Saiful Bukhari Azlan in June 2008. Which one will Anwar succeed? To Putrajaya or to Sg.Buloh again?

Anwar and his supporters keep on questioning the validity of the “sumpah” made by Saiful last week. regardless of whatever opinion you may come foward with, the “sumpah” will be valid and completed only with the declaration of this three citation – Wallahi, Wabillahi, Watallahi and the action of holding Quran is not necessary. despite the fact that Saiful has done it in whatever ways, he is said to have made a complete sworn and he has done it. Now let see whether Mr.Anwar Ibrahim has the guts to do the same thing as what has been done by Saiful. Anwar’s action for not doing this will eventually reflects the perception of the real guilty person here in this case.

Nevertheless, Anwar still refuses to do such thing. well if he says that he has no time and too busy with this by-election campaign, this process will only take several minutes as the pre-process can be done by his supporters, and all he is amount to is to say the three words, Wallahi, Wabillahi, and Watallahi, thats it. But having said that, Anwar is still playing with his tricks.

We all waiting for 16 september 2008, will Anwar declares himself as a sixth Malaysian Prime Minister and “buy” 30 MPs purposely to snatch the power from the present government? I hope this will not going to happen since these 30MPs will drive Malaysia into the hell of chaos and disaster. If Anwar manage to get it, the PR will only have 2 MPs majority over the BN, as BN are not that stupid to let go this saga just like that. They will try their best to “buy” back these MPs and there you go – the government shifting from week to week, and cause political insane since it never happen before in the history of any Nation State.

The investers are not feeling anymore safe and will pack up their things. the ongoing progress of civil servant will be disturbed and policies will keep on changing, projects and tender will be distracted, this happen because of people who always think for themselves, selfish person and only fight for powers, wealth and credibility, without thinking of the people in needs. This is why weak government (having just a simple majority in parliament) is not desirable.

Or can Anwar do so? considering the current climax of his sodomy tale, I personally think that he is going to jail again rather than having the Putrajaya office in his name. I am not judging after all, since my words could be said as contempt of court, as this is only my personal view. So which goes first? the Putrajaya or Sg.Buloh once again? The 30MPs are now hiding their hands from the crowd on whether to join Anwar or vice versa. They don’t want to get caught for nothing if Anwar fails to cease the power from the present government, as these 30MPs will be kicked out from Barisan for sure.

By the way, lets respect the Permatang Pauh constituency. They will hold the votes and they will decide for the future of themselves. They will decide for the future of Anwar Ibrahim. If they are hoping for Anwar to become the Prime Minister, they have rights to do so. If they believe in Arif Shah ( I was like kind of shock and proud to hear Arif Shah spoke in Mandarin in Mandarin news last night. It was like – We are Malaysian!! ) , they can have Arif Shah to be their representatives.

Love to wait and see what will happen next in this continuing drama of Malaysian politics.
